What does an IV drip do?

An IV drip therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, minerals and amino acids directly into the body, by-passing the gut where certain nutrients may not be fully absorbed. This efficient method ensures 100% of the benefits to be delivered directly to the to target tissues. While IV Infusions are not meant to be a substitute for oral intake, they do serve as a great supplement to quickly restore the body to optimum balance and performance.

What should I expect from my appointment?

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your doctor and together you will discuss your treatment plan. Once the treatment is decided on they will review your past medical history, allergies and take some general observations. We do this to ensure that it is safe to proceed with selected treatment. After the treatment we will run through aftercare and answer any questions you may have to ensure you are fully comfortable and happy.

Does it hurt?

For IV therapies we use very small cannulas (needles), which will only feel like a small sharp scratch. As for cosmetic treatments, we use a numbing cream and very fine needles to minimise any pain or discomfort.

Are IV therapies/Cosmetics procedures safe?

As with any treatment, they carry a tiny risk of reaction however everything will be explained before the treatment and luckily all of our doctors are fully trained and highly experienced to reduce these risks and deal with any unlikely reactions.
